Citizen Announces Spring 2027 Vera Wang Collaboration Featuring Eco-Drive Technology

NEW YORK, March 11, 2026 (FASHION BEAUTY SCENE) — Watch manufacturer Citizen Watch has announced a new designer collaboration with Vera Wang, introducing the Vera Wang for Citizen collection scheduled to launch globally in Spring 2027.

The 24-piece collection is part of Citizen’s 50th anniversary of Eco-Drive innovation and will include ready-to-wear and couture-inspired designs for women and men. Each timepiece will be powered by Citizen’s proprietary Eco-Drive technology, which converts natural or artificial light into energy to power the watch and eliminates the need for battery replacement.

According to the company, the collaboration reflects Citizen’s continued investment in expanding its women’s watch segment, which it described as one of the fastest-growing areas within the global watch market. The collection spans jewelry-inspired pieces and ready-to-wear styles, developed through collaboration on concept development, materials, and case architecture.
Citizen stated that decades of advancements in light-powered technology have enabled slimmer case profiles and expanded dial design possibilities, incorporating materials such as natural washi paper, ultra-thin sapphire glass, mother-of-pearl, and structural inks.
The Vera Wang for Citizen collection will be available on the Citizen website and at select retailers beginning Spring 2027.
